CIVIL Law Intake Form – Please Read Before Proceeding
What We Mean by "Civil Litigation"
This form is for disputes between parties that may involve lawsuits, breach of contract, business disputes, property disputes, debt collection, real estate litigation, government enforcement actions, or other contested civil matters where one party has a legal claim against another.
This form is NOT for:
- Criminal Charges
- Class C Tickets
- Probate (someone passed away)
- Estate planning (our website has a separate form for that)
If you're unsure whether your matter qualifies, contact our office at main@clayharrisonlaw.com before completing this form.
Selective Representation
Our firm maintains a deliberately limited caseload to ensure every matter receives our undivided attention, personalized strategy, and the highest level of dedication. This boutique approach allows us to deliver exceptional, tailored results for the select clients we choose to represent.
If your matter aligns with our practice focus and criteria, we would welcome the opportunity to explore how we can assist you.
Initial Retainer
Upon acceptance of your case, an initial retainer deposit of $10,000 is required. This amount is held in our client trust account and applied only as earned through our work. This policy is firm and non-negotiable, reflecting our commitment to prioritizing cases where clients are fully prepared to engage at the level required for outstanding outcomes.
Case Budget and Transparency
Each case is unique, and total costs depend on its complexity, duration, and specific needs. We prioritize clear, upfront communication about anticipated expenses throughout the representation.
For the types of matters we handle, budgets typically range from $30,000 to $50,000 or more, depending on the scope and developments. Please note that the initial $10,000 retainer is not an estimate of total fees—it often covers intensive early-phase work, such as comprehensive research, strategy development, and initial filings. We provide regular updates and projections to keep you fully informed and confident in the process.
Consultation Policy
We do not provide free initial consultations. For cases that appear suitable for our review, we offer a focused, one-hour paid consultation at a rate of $400, payable at the time of scheduling. This session allows us to thoroughly evaluate your situation and determine whether we are the right fit to represent you.
