A Premium, Selective Criminal Defense Practice

Most criminal defense firms in Northeast Texas handle a high volume of cases for low flat fees. Those arrangements are designed to move cases quickly through plea bargains, often with little preparation for litigation.

We take a different approach. By intentionally limiting the number of cases we accept, we ensure every client receives the focused attention, meticulous preparation, and tailored strategy their case deserves.

A Low-Volume Practice with High-Quality Representation

With nearly two decades of experience in the criminal justice system as a prosecutor, judge, and defense attorney, our firm offers a unique and comprehensive perspective. Attorney Clay Harrison is also one of a select number of attorneys who are Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction held by fewer than 1% of all attorneys in the state.

We don't accept every case, and we don't make promises we can't keep. If we take your case, it's because we believe it warrants the exceptional level of time and resources we devote.

You will never be rushed into a plea deal simply because we're too busy to prepare for trial.

Consultation and Fees

We offer a complimentary initial phone consultation to discuss the specifics of your case.

If we accept your case for representation, we operate on a flat-fee structure for legal services. Our fees reflect the premium level of representation we provide and are due in full before we begin work.

  • Class A & B Misdemeanor: Starting at $5,000
  • Felony (State Jail & Third-Degree): Starting at $7,500
  • Felony (First & Second-Degree): Starting at $10,000
  • Motion for Early Termination of Probation: Starting at $3,500
  • Motion to Revoke Probation: Starting at $5,000

These fees cover all pre-trial work, including plea negotiations and preparing for court hearings. Trial fees are separate and will be discussed as your case progresses.

Why Clients Choose Our Firm

  • Selective Caseload: We are not a volume-based practice. We only accept a limited number of clients at a time to ensure your case receives the attention it demands.

  • Premium Representation: Our fees reflect the unparalleled preparation, focus, and quality that volume firms simply cannot match. This is the fee for a defense built for every possibility, not just for a quick plea bargain.

Proven Experience: Attorney Clay Harrison's extensive background as a prosecutor, judge, and defense attorney, along with his Board Certification in Criminal Law, offers an unparalleled level of insight and expertise.

We are not the lowest-cost option. We are the firm you hire when the stakes are highest and when your future is on the line.
